MY METHOD

During my 20’s, I enjoyed cross-cultural exchange through my experience of traveling abroad to Asia and staying in Canada. For over 15 years, I have been involved in Japanese language education for foreigners and have gained vast experience. I have offered lessons to people from diverse backgrounds, such as Japanese language school and vocational school students, children from international schools and business people from leading companies. In addition, through a wide range of work such as school public relations work, employment support, curriculum design, and study tour planning, I reflected on what I really want to "learn".
From many practical activities, I reaffirmed the importance of showing goals and motivation from their "tastes" and "interests". I believe that teachers and students are "Active and Creative Learners" who will continue life-long learning. Now, I am exploring "learning of future-oriented education" aiming at interactive communication, and practical use of ICT education.

20代の頃に単身アジア旅行・カナダでのホームステイなど外国での滞在経験を通じて異文化交流の楽しさを知る。その後15年以上に渡り、外国人日本語教育に携わり現場で研鑽を積む。日本語学校や専門学校生、インターナショナルスクールの子供達、大手企業のビジネスマン等、多様なバックグラウンドを持つ人達にレッスンを提供。また広報・営業業務・就職支援・カリキュラムデザイン・スタディーツアー企画等、多岐にわたる仕事を通じ、真の意味で「学びたくなる」とはどういうことかと内省する。数々の実践活動から、人は自分の「好き」「興味」から主体性を発揮すること、またゴールやモチベーションの重要性を再認識する。教師も学生も生涯学び続ける"Active・Creative Leaner”であると考え、「インタラクティブ・コミュニケーション」ICT教育の活用などミライ型教育の"学び"を探求中。
